The FP15 organised handicap road race took place on Sunday 16th of September. The race was held at the Jurby airfield and included a massive range of abilities from novice to professional. Bobby Brooks took the win from a two up sprint with Steven Murphy, with Jake Subachus coming home 3rd. Sacha Quine took the ladies win with an impressive 6th position, 1 second, and 1 place, ahead of 2nd lady, Sally Walker. The fastest lap was posted by mountain biker Elliot Baxter in 3 min

Matthew Draper (Manx Road Club) took superb victory in the 2017 Tour of Middle road race. After spending the majority of race off the front of the A race group, Matthew managed to hold off a late surge from Peter Kennaugh (Manx Road Club / Team SKY) to win solo. Matthews winning margin was just 11 seconds from Peter. The bunch sprint for third was won by Simon Skillicorn (MVW). The 'B' race was won by Mark Horsthuis respectively.
