Sad Passing of Vice President

It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the recent passing of our Vice President, Mr Jim Duncan. As many of you will know, Jim was a lifelong supporter of all things sporting on the Isle of Man and his association with cycling and in particular, the Manx Road Club as a friend, supporter and kind sponsor through his Ramsey Bakery family business goes back over many years. Having previously held the role of President, Jim, along with Hugh Porter had once again been unanimously re-elected to joint Vice Presidents back in October and we were proud to maintain that association and closeness in recognition of everything he had done for the Club. The Committee and Members, both past and present wish to extend their sincere condolences to Jim’s family at this sad time.
